Most of the national chains are nearby and we are close to the quaint area of downtown Wake Forest with great restaurants and shopping there. We also enjoy the events held in historic downtown like the annual lighting of the Christmas tree, annual parades and music/food festivals.
There are many local restaurants that we frequent (Backfins for seafood, Mizo for great sushi, Bruno’s for a fabulous NY steak and Farm Table for amazing farm to table fare). The Factory is a great indoor recreational facility for families and sports also shopping and dining.
- What are some of the best nearby conveniences?
Having a Super Target about a mile away is great. We also have all of the necessary conveniences – drug stores, a hospital, grocery stores, 2 major home improvement retailers. Plus Walmart, Olive Garden, Michael’s, Home Goods, a large movie theater and many fast food franchises.
- What are your favorite things about your home?
We enjoy the downstairs master, wood floors throughout, the updated kitchen/keeping room, two large rear decks and the fact that it is directly next door to a quiet little park in a very safe neighborhood.
