1. What do you love most about living in your city/town?

Wake Forest is such a lovely area that is still has that hometown feel yet there is plenty of growth and opportunity. There are many nearby conveniences, shops – both large and small, restaurants, doctor offices, shopping centers, a variety of grocery stores, family-friendly activities and more. Since Wake Forest closely neighbors Raleigh, it’s very easy to get to RTP, the airport and other main attractions within the City.

2. What are the best things about your neighborhood?

The sidewalk lined streets and the close proximity to so much! It’s right down the road from South Main Street where there’s a gas station, The Factory that’s full of family-friendly things to do, a few great restaurants like Il Bacio, Village Deli and a pizza place as well as being close to Capital Blvd which will take you either towards Raleigh or in the other direction towards Youngsville.

3. What are a few of your favorite LOCAL restaurants or shops?

Where do we begin? For restaurants we love Il Bacio, Marco’s Pizza, Shuckers, La Forresta, Panera Bread, Over the Falls, Main Street Grill, Village Deli – there are so many great options in Wake Forest! And for shops, Lilly Mae’s in The Factory is a great shop, as is the Giving Tree on South Main Street. The Cotton Company on  South White Street in Downtown Wake Forest also is a great quaint shop filled with so many great items. Starbucks also just opened very close by on Rogers Road which is very close to our neighborhood — such a great convenience.

4. What are your favorite things about your home?

We absolutely love the Italian influences of the home. The chandeliers with medallion accents, the tall ceilings, the grand foyer with views of the beautiful large back deck, the trey ceilings in the dining room with exquisite detailed molding, the spacious bonus room and the large 1st floor master. This home is truly a masterpiece and has been treated as such. The kitchen is divine with double oven, gas burner stovetop, tall cabinets and detailed cabinet pulls.

We love the privacy of the backyard and the peaceful, beautiful, tranquil space that this is — you always hear the birds. The private natural space is the perfect backdrop seen through the windows for most of the rooms downstairs and upstairs.

We also love the hide-away rooms in the upstair bedrooms! They are great space for libraries, study rooms, craft rooms, TV areas, “teen hide-out” – use your imagination!
