1. What do you love most about living in Raleigh?

We love Raleigh and being close enough to drive to mountains or to the beach in just a day.  We especially love that the people that live here are so friendly and caring!

2. What are the best things about your neighborhood?

The location of our neighborhood is close to just about everything!  Being so close to the beltline, the airport, schools, tons of restaurants, shopping, fitness centers and athletic events is so convenient. We are on a cul-de-sac that is quiet and we absolutely love it. There is also access to a private pond.  We enjoy walking to Shelley Lake, and have been incredibly thankful for our wonderful neighbors. We’ll miss them the most!

3. What are a few of your favorite LOCAL restaurant or shops?

Our #1 favorite restaurant is by far Gonzas Taco’s and Tequilas. It’s right up the street on Lead Mine Road. There are so many fun places to eat within 5—10 minutes.  There’s also every grocery store you could imagine AND 2 Targets that are super close, which makes life so easy!

4. What are some of the best nearby conveniences?

We love the convenience of 2 great shopping centers that are so close to us, both with grocery stores and wonderful restaurants that our family loves. It is also so convenient to take a short walk through the neighborhood to meet up with the trails at Shelley Lake.

5. What are your favorite things about your home?

When we first bought this home, our family fell in love with the open floor plan of the main floor, but it also gave us many options for bedrooms, playroom and office.  During most of the year, the backyard is very private and we can all enjoy being out on our secluded back deck!
