1. What do you love most about Fuquay?
Getting around is usually pretty easy and quick, except when people are getting off work. Usually weekends are good, filled with yard sales, farmer’s market, and other activities planned by the city. It is within easy drive times to other cities like Holly Springs, Apex, etc.

2. What are a few of your favorite LOCAL restaurants or shops?
We have some excellent local beer places (where they make it), like the Fainting Goat and eating locations like Mason Jar, Stick Boy Coffee, large big box shopping centers in F-V and just down the road in Holly Spring (less than 10 miles) where there is all the best like Target, Michael’s, Olive Garden, and a movie theater complex coming. There are some excellent home and garden centers. We have a great B&B, which hosts cooking classes. We have several discount, thrift stores like Guardian Angel and Habitat for Humanity Re-Sale – they are great for finding those special items you don’t think you live without! 🙂

3. What are some of the best nearby conveniences?
Many drive-thru fast foods, good groceries like Harris-Teeter, Aldi’s, Sheetz, and good automotive repairs like Goodyear.  We have an excellent library which is going to go thru renovation and expansion.  We also have an excellent Community Center with crafts, sports, activities like Walks for Hunger, etc.

4. What are your favorite things about the home?
I like my home (it is my first “house”) because it is cozy, easy to maintain, decorate, and great place for a potluck. People tell me that it is just big enough for one or two people and encourages quiet time and the feeling of “home”. It’s easy to find (just a mile from 401S) with many backroads to go exploring and finding those out-of-the way shops and stores.
